The Atlantic City Boardwalk Holocaust Memorial is an ensemble of three colonnades of “blades”. The visitors are filtered through the first colonnade to enter five thematic spaces that reveal the different facets of the Holocaust through distinctive patterns cut in the adjacent surfaces of the “blades” of the second colonnade. Stepping beyond that colonnade, the visitors enter into a secluded gathering and contemplation space at the rear of the memorial.
