Център за изкуства и култура ‘containArt’
Запазването на идентичността на съществуващите сгради е основният мотив зад този проект. Единствените нови надземни обеми са сглобени от транспортни контейенри: лека и самоподдържаща се конструкция, която подчертава индустриалната естетика на обекта. Контейнерите въплъщават визуалната идентичност на новия център за изкуства и култура и подсилват неговото присъствие и видимост в парка. Ландшафтното оформяне следва естествения релеф на терена и предлага терасирано оформяне на трибуни на открито за различни събития. Зеленият покрив на старата складова сграда се употребява за кафе на открито.
Centre for Arts and Culture ‘containArt’
Preserving the identity of the existing industrial buildings is the main objective of this project. The only new above ground volumes are made of shipping containers: lightweight, self-supporting structures, which contributes to the industrial aesthetics of the building. The containers embody the visual identity of the new Centre for Arts and Culture and augment its physical presence and visibility in the park. The landscape follows the natural geometry of the terrain and the project proposes terraced formation of open air tiers for various events. The green roof of the old underground storage building is reused as an open air cafe.
