This project proposes regeneration of the plot of the old Freight Station in Plovdiv with a development of high-end hotels, casino, spa center, concert hall, conference facilities, shopping, leisure and fine-dining spaces. The public realm is formed as a plaza between the landmark structures, lowered beneath the street surface to provide visual and acoustic segregation from the traffic of the busiest junction in the city. The landscape is lined with cypress trees and fountains framing the view corridors towards the hills of Plovdiv.
